Please Help Me Identify!

This specimen....

I'm in Zone 7b and I received a bunch of branches from a friend today. She has no clue as to what kind of fig she has, but I suspect it's either a Celeste or Brown Turkey. I've never met the mother tree but I understand that it is well established 15+yrs and quite large. The figs are good but not really exceptional in taste. The branches that she gave me were loaded with immature fruit and only 2 were ripe. I took a pic of the largest one.

I ended up with 2 dozen cuttings that I have already wrapped and placed in a container to root. We'll see how many actually take.

So I'm posting a pic of the cuttings, a branch with the figs attached and the one fig that is close to ripe. What do you think this is???

Not celeste

Well, Ok then. What else can we rule out?

Agree with Cal, that size is way too large for Celeste unless that a babys hand in the photo. : )
It would also help to see the inside of the fig and a view of the eye.

I can't say for sure, but I don't think it is a brown turkey either...the color leans towards alma?? But I don't think that's it either haha... Hard to say

Nice fig. has a pear like color/hue to it. was it ripe at that color?
be carfull using too much moisture rooting the green cuttings

I don't think this fig is completely ripened. There is some golden brown coloration around the bottom but it's still very firm. If I remember correctly, these figs do become more golden brown in color halfway down the fruit when ripe. I had some last year from her. This is why I haven't opened it yet. I have another that is slightly smaller and very greener too. I've been promised ripe fruits in the next week or two also, so we'll see. I also remember the flavor as extremely mild.
