Please help me to identify this fig

Hello

My father in law got this tree as a gift.

It produces 1.5-2 inches dark fig. It is delicious so we want to find out what it is. It can be one of the very common fig (mission?) But we can't tell.

Can any of the forum member tell what variety it is from the leave shape?

Thanks!

Thanks!

I have a hard time telling one fig leaf from another, but I'm sure that the pros are going to ask you for a picture of the ripe fruit, both whole and in half, along with the fig leaf and a quarter placed along side for size reference, in order to give you a positive ID.  Good luck...hope you find out the variety.

Just got a few ripe figs and took a few pictures. Can any of you recognize the variety of this fig?

The fig is dark on one side, and green on the other. The fruit is white and light purple inside. The fruit is ripe and is quite sweet.

You can see the leave of the tree in my earlier post.

Thanks!
