Please ID me...... I don't know who I am

Hey everyone TONYSAC here I have a local unkown from a lady named Joy the story is her father 25 yrs go was doing a job on a house in long beach on Long Island and was admiring the mother tree and finally the owner invited him for a fig lunch then gave him some cuttings and here we are 25 yrs later in Valley Stream. Ok the taste the best I can describe it is it tasted like watermelon right off the bat and then mixed into strawberry and finished up as a rich lingering flavor on the back/sides of my tounge the sweetness was a 10 on a scale from 1-10 I have full access to this tree air layers/cuttings whenever I want im also given permission to pick at will :). Please help me id this fig hopefully it is something everyone wants and I can spread the wealth. When I first seen this tree I thought black mission but then I cut one opened and it was lighter then expected the pic where there is two cut opened the smaller one had all the taste I described (Def riper) the one to the left (bigger one) 52.8 g wasn't as pronounced in flavor but it looked ripe on the tree maybe it needed a couple more days. Thanks guys and gals any help would be greatly appreciated.

Midnight Starburst?

Is that a real name ? Or are we trying to give it a name

The fruit looks very similar to the Sal's (Corleone) fig types.

How many different types of (Corleone) are there ?

Sal (Corleone) - BC#31

Aldo/Palermo Red
Brooklyn Dark
GM#17
Sicilian Red

Forgive me George I do not know how to look up BC#31 I know its an ID but im clueless as to how to look it up

31. SICILIAN BLACK (Sal's) (Corelone) (Fico di Capo) (Fico-Nera) (a) medium to large, dark red center, (2 crops)

(BC) DUH ME.....This is very good news its possibly a Belleclare find it makes sense its on long island but its from a 25 yr old tree ?? Where they around that long ? I never had the pleasure visiting the nursery but ive heard it was great as well as the staff Thank you so much for your info

I agree with Gorgi- Sal's C relative.  I'm curious to see how it does with humidity and rain.  My Sal's C splits towards the end of season but I like it enough to put up with it.  But there is no guarantee that what you have came directly from them.  It just may be a cutting or plant from someone that had access to ones from Sicily and in relation may be the same one they had. Still cool to find though.  I have an unknown from someone that's family came over from Italy and right now it's looking like Sal's EL/Gene and there are from CT.  Will know more in a few years.

I wouldn't be surprised if you find more there in the V. Stream, North V. Stream, Malverne area.  A lot of Italians and those that grew up in south Queens moved out that way from Ozone Park/Howard Beach.  Even parts of Rockville Center and Franklin Square.

Theres plenty of trees here in VS and the surrounding area I have full access to 5 trees and trying to find more and I will knock on the door and ask if I see something promising. If you dont mind me asking Dominick what part of long island/queens are you from I have family NYPD

From Ozone Park- I patrolled Rosedale/Laurelton/ Cambria Heights. Basically all of the CIP up to the GCP and LIE.

My cuz is from ridgewood hes a sarg and my other cuz is from li and he is det there both about to retire

Hung out in Ridgewood in my early 20's in the German bars.  Good for them I bet they can't wait to retire. Had to retire early.
