Please!!!! Peters Honey help

Ciao Amici,  I need help and going to try and ask on a thread all its own, I need to know if anyone has pictures of the dominant leaf and the fruits from a genuine Peters Honey.  I had to take it off my web because I don't know if it is genuine as i received from Willis Orchards.  I have no dispute of my Italian everbearing ( Roma Nera strain ) I ate fruit from it the other day, it is a Roma Nera as they ( Willis ) said it would be, but my PH, I don't know.  Can anyone help me before domancy sets in and have no leafs to show for this year. I want to rest my mind about it and not mislead anyone as to it being a PH or not.  Ciao and thanks to allof you .  I have days that I can come back to the forum more than usual, Alessandro and my gardening and cooking keeps me very very busy and sometimes I am too tired to chime in and talk here, but I think of you all and will try to come on and chat and help when I can, Alessandro is with Uncle Mauro today and his girlfriend, I packed a big lunch for Alex ( as my inlaws call him, they can't say Alessandro very well) and for my brother because my brother Mauro's girlfriend doesn't cook and they went to his house and I have the day to catch up.  Love to all my friends here.  If you could post this pictures, I would appreciate it. Ciao Ciao

Maggie,Thanks for the good thoughts. Sorry I don't have a Peter's Honey anymore. It's not the right one for my zone for now. I may try it again some day. The good news is there are many people in this forum that have PH and if no one post a picture, please email me privately & I will pass the contacts to you.

i've also got a peter's honey from willis. i planted it bare root about 6 weeks ago. indistinguishable from the others i bought at the same time.

Paully, thank you so much, I will email if no luck.

Papayamon, I have only the two, Roma N and the Peters Honey from Willis.,  they were very distinguishable when I received them from Willis. I don't dispute RN.  Thank you .  Ciao

Sorry maggie thats all i could find with leaves.

Maggie, have you ever talk to Joe Morle?

Jstall, yes I have talked with Giuseppe a few times.  I never ordered anything from him but want to in the future, He has a Paradiso that is exactly like my paradiso I acquired from my cousin in Italy, so i know he carries good Fig trees that are labled well and true.  Why do you ask? , I don't recall him having a PH, just wondering?

Nelson,  thanks for the pics, My tree actually resembles the plate leaf with the figs on, but I need to search more.  I did Google it for pictures but didn't find alot that I could really see or helpful at all.  Thank you.  Ciao

nelson, that's one nice looking plant!

We had a long discussion about some trees my great grandfather brought here and I was thinking he may be able to tell you about a true Peters Honey. He seem very knowledgeable. I have one of his Triana but it is very young.

Thank you Jstall, maybe i will give him a ring, he may know what the actual variety is, who knows, we may have it growing back home and I could just get one of them, if I get a correct Italian name for it. Ciao

I am interested to know what he tells you. We talked about the Peters honey but it got lost when we started talking about my ggfathers figs.

Hi Maggie,

I have Peter's Honey.  I bought it from One Green World.  I looked on their website to see if they have a picture of this fig. They do not.  My Peter's Honey looks like the one Nelson posted.  This is one of my favorite figs.  It tastes just like honey.  It just melts in your mouth.

Vern

maggie, you got a pic?
