Hello fellow Fig guru's - Hope you can identify these fig trees. Fig 1 and 2 are grown from cuttings from the neighbor's trees. They don't know what these are and I found them growing in their front yards. These are planted straight to the ground as cuttings in feb/march 2015. Fig 4 was local purchase as small rooted cutting that seller collected from her mother's tree. This was planter in Sep 2014. Fig 2 had 3 fruit last fall and none riped even after 3 months. Fig 1 and 4 had not fruited yet!I am in Zone 7b DFW. Thank you.ZS
Tree #4 looks a lot like Brunswick, fairly common here in Texas
Going in order from the top pic Celeste Turkey Magnolia My guess. Lol Post pic on this thread as it fruits Good luck Richie Louisiana
Folks - thanks for the input. Richie - I think you are right about the Fig#2 as Brown Turkey. Last year it had 3 fruits - as I remember now without photo - those resemble like BT. These never riped even after frost and fell off after shriveled. Fig#4 had few Breba as the size of a pea early this season - but fell off after the hard frost in Late march. Does Brunswick/Magnolia has Breba? ThanksZS
