Does anyone know what type of caprifigs are used to pollinate the main California varieties that are sold in grocery stores? Black Mission, California Brown Turkey, Kadota, Sierra, Panache etc.
My interest lies in the genetic possibilities of offspring from pollinated seeds. I know that the topic of growing from seeds has been beaten to death but the info is inconsistent.
Do i stand any genetic chance of getting persisent/common offspring from California Pollinated Fig seeds?
