Ponte Tresa Fig Tree Update

Been hearing lots of complaints about you tube lately. Sorry to hear you cant even post a gardening video anymore. :(.. Your PT looks good though.

The video won't play. I have a pont tresa pushing a fig in Louisiana. Will post a pic on your thread. Looking forward to your video play

The video played fine for me, both here and on YouTube. What an interesting back yard you have. Thanks for posting it.

Video played for me, too. Thanks for sharing!

That's so annoying that gardening videos are getting flagged! This is an awesome video though!

Pont tresa coming along. Fruit has a unique shape to it. Last pic is a unknown. Like the leaves. Still never produced yet.

My Ponte Tresa has dropped several figs. No ripe ones yet

Ponte -Treza is a soap bubble?

Mine is passed the drop faze Usually if they drop they get air filled and not hard. Have a few trees I was going to get rid of but trying new silicon fertilizer and changing watering cycle. I really want my saltani to ripen and my pastiller Tresa is staying pretty firm Time will tell

Great YouTube video of PT.

Hi,
Nice tree. It could have used a bit more fertilizer as I see some shades on the leaves/veins and those mean lack of nutrients. Could be the light in the video though .

For artichokes, they use a lot of manure, compost and fertilizer. Normally they'll send root-shoots that you can move to a new spot to spread them in the garden.
Some strains of artichokes can be kept in zone7 with straw protections and hoping for a light winter.
Last winter, killed them all here in the gardens around mine, both the ones for eating and the decorative ones (smaller flowers) .
The decorative ones are hardier.
Their bloom is really magnificent.
