Thank you greenfig!

Welcome, nice looking figs, am I correct in guessing that they pingo de mel?

Welcome to the forum, Camacho. Those figs are beautiful. What variety are they?

Welcome Camacho.... Keep Posting Pics.

Welcome aboard and thanks for sharing

Welcome, Comacho.  Great to have you here.

Olá amigo Camacho,

Welcome to the forum.
Hope all well with you. That's a nice fig with looks of being a honey type.
I am glad seeing your area becoming a nice long waited 'garden' !
Are there any new commercial fig varieties planted?

Francisco

Welcome to THE forum Camacho :)

Pois pois, and you can meet Francisco, aka Lampo.  and his marvelous figs. I am jealous.  Welcome to the forum and happy figging.

Hi Camacho,
Welcome to f4f !
What varieties do you already grow ?

Hello everyone, and thanks for the greetings. I don't know which variety they are, here they simply call it 'Figo Branco' which means white fig. Probably they are the pingo de mel variety, like Chivas is saying, very common here in Portugal.

lampo: Olá amigo Francisco! Glad to talk with you again. I heard that somebody was planting some commercial fig trees nearby some time ago, but I dont know anything more about it.

jdsfrance: Hello jdsfrance, I only have two varieties which I don't know their names.

Allow me to add my greeting to the other greetings you have received. This is a great message board filled with nice people from many parts of the world!  Joe

Welcome Camacho,

Muito obrigado for showing your nice figs!

Thank you Joe and Feigenbaum!

Welcome, Camacho, and thanks for posting.  My father's parents immigrated from Madeira approximately 100 years ago to come farm in California.  I love collecting Portuguese figs.  There is one fig brought to California from Madeira about 50 years ago also called Figo Branco.  Mine hasn't fruited yet.

Best wishes,

Aloha and mahalo, Camacho, for sharing your fig pics.  They look delicious!
