I'm visiting with my dad for a few days and as he's showing his fig trees to me he points this one out and he says he has no idea what the name is, all he knows is that it stays green, maybe a yellowish green, do y'all think its shaped like a LSU gold?
I think so. The flattened fruit are a characteristic. The last leaf looks like it. Here is was I had last year for ripe LSU main crop and leaf pattern.
I would agree, LSU Gold...

Thanks, that's what I figured, he lives in central La so just about every place that sells fig trees carry LSU gold and purple, lol. Needless to say I got a bag of cuttings from a couple of suckers.
