I do not Know,of any fig I labeled ,Myself, Herman Unknown, but if you place a pix ,with leaves and fruits and I have seen it I can recognise it.I had some unknown figs from George M that were labeled,Unknown #2,5 and 11.
Hey Mario is this the Magnus Fig?
Jon must be licken his lips for this Brown Turkey
Heman/MarjoI remember sending a cutting to someone with marking "Herman Unknown' because during rooting the ID marking on that one cutting had become ineligible so I still call that plant "Herman Unknown" until it is ID'd.
Hey Nelson that's not the MagnusIt was one that Akram sent me marked Herman's Unknown along with some that was labeled FTM I'm curious to see what the FTM's are going to look like when they bare this season maybe we will be able to compare with the donner plant I'm looking forward to this Season with most of the trees in there second full season Can't wait for Spring to arrive
Every brown turkey I have grown has a small hollow center cavity. I can't tell if this is the case with yours.
Hi MarioIf I remember correctly, I had sent you one marked BTM (Brown Turkey Maryland) and not FTM. Partly dim B in BTM may make it look like FTM. I had received it from Herman two years before I sent you the cutting but since then Herman does not call it Maryland Brown Turkey. See below http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=4621415&highlight=herman+maryland+brown+turkey
Ed this fig didn't have any cavity it was solid throughoutit may be possible that its not a BTAkram I was pretty sure that it said FTM and Not BTM I'm going to re-label them 2 of the 3 cuttings survived
