I took this cutting from a tree on the side of the road near my home. I have been calling it Celeste because that's what I thought it was because Celeste is so common here and the fruit from the mother tree was really close to Celeste. I don't have any pics of fruit to show but the leaves growing on this cutting doesn't resemble the Celeste trees I am familiar with, could it be o'rourke?

Anything is possible, but the Celeste leaves are very variable. The leaves and Figs have to be compared. I have several different Celeste cultivars, and at least two produce leaves that may sometimes resemble the O'Rourke, the figs still look and taste like regular Celeste.
      

Thanks a lot Pete, I did not realize that about Celeste. I don't have any fruit but if I remember correctly they were Celeste like but maybe a little more brownish.
