Ok, I have quite a few cuttings now and was hoping to get them in the cloner tonight. What is the procedure for getting these in the cloner, just wash in bleach solution and stick em in.

Some are a little long can I cut them down? 

Should I cut the bottom to give the cutting a fresh rooting end?

I am no stranger to using a cloner, just to cloning figs.

I wash mine with a toothbrush in a bleach-water and antibacterial Dawn dish soap solution. After the scrubbing, I rinse them off with water.  I always make a fresh cut before sticking them in the cloner.

Someone wrote here about "scoring" the ends of each cutting.
