Problem with Private Messaging?

Is anyone having a problem with private messaging? I usually get a "private message has been sent" popup after sending a private message. Now I don't and I'm not sure if my PM's are going through. Anyone else have this problem? I apologize in advance if I am sending multiple PMs to anyone, but I have no way of telling if they have been sent.

You have to click on "save a copy" at the bottom of the page when sending a PM for it to show up in your sent messages folder... just an FYI.

I turned my PMs off.  The whole system is too cumbersome, and emails are so much easier.  As Tyler pointed out, there are options at the bottom.  You can also click one of the boxes for a receipt.  It will notify you either through PM or email when your message has been read.

This has been happening for a long time. Not to worry when you send it it goes through. I just got the four you sent me with the same text.

Thanks everyone for the info and your suggestions. I will have to save a copy and check the sent folder. What's so frustrating is that I did a couple of "test" PMs to myself on my PC and I still get the popup that says private message has been sent; however when using my tablet, (which I use 99% of the time) that popup no longer appears.

You may wanna install/reinstall Java app on your mobile device.

The PM system here often does not work properly. I thought it had gotten better, but maybe not.

Also, if you want your messages to be totally private, use email and not the PM system of any forum. The admins can read them. I doubt Jon cares, but on other forums, sometimes 'private' PMs do get read.
