I think the photos of these two young trees summarize my experience with these two figs in this climate. Both late figs and like a lot of heat. Black Madeira very generous and CDD white stingy and a tip bearer. Taste very good with both.

Nice growers and hopefully the CdDB will get on the ball and produce more, I am sure it will. BM did a number, they must love the heat, what about rain and the humidity??

Looks good, My col de dama is putting out lots of top growth but only put out half a dozen figs earlier in the season and now it wants to produce more small ones, but not at the tips more in the middle of branches. I do not pinch this tree though.
Black Madeira will split with lots of rain, but still tastes good.
The leaves look very healthy, fmv free. Congrats. My trees are small, there are a couple of figs, I hope to enjoy many more next year.
