So far so good on my first year plant. It is growing nicely and pushing out tons of figs (thanks for the pinching tip). Now if I can keep the squirrels and birds away, that will be the test.

Looks very healthy!  Good luck with keeping the bad guys away.  Ants seem to be a problem more than anything for me.

That's really a first year plant?? Wow, I wished mine grew that fast!

sorry for the confusion it is MY first year plant but not A first year plant.  I purchased it already pretty big from a nursery.  there is an older thread with a picture of it from before it leafed out. 

Ahhh, ok, either way, beautiful plant you have there. I really like it!
