Just kidding!  Very nice!  Thanks for sharing!

Suzi

I hope the figs hold on for you.

hi Paul

nice picture..  Care to share with us the technique you used to start this?  How long of time passed from the time you took the cutting until you were able to root/plant?

Good luck with this one, keep us posted!

What a good moment from your trip.

They were cut this  exact time last year. I took green cuttings put them straight into  potting mix. winter  stored them in my garage  watering once a month a little bit took them out in march and they took off. lost  Three

My question is...........?

'How in the world did you get them past customs?"
(imagioning a little old greek woman with a fig tree duct taped to her back!)LOL

Hi Paul
Thank you for thinking of me!
See you on your next trip to Beautiful Saratoga
Vito

Dan,

We do not speak of those secrets in public..... Just kidding, you would be surprised the stuff that gets past customs and the stupid things they stop you for.

For instance I was stopped at JFK for Alpha and Beta particle radiation from Galway Granite. Should mention I had about 300 pounds of the stuff :D Made for an interesting afternoon with TSA and Custom Officials.

BTW they said nothing of the plant materials in my suitcase.

Dan I was on a cruise ship when  I got to each  Island I took cuttings  in my bag . threw x ray and they didnt say anything. then in Italy they were wrapped in my bags not problem. Then customs in Philly & NY no problem. But I was sweating each time. what we do for  figs is nuts

way to go! Enjoy!
I would have just mailed them to myself at home!
No sweat that way! and a neat souvieneer waiting for you when you get home! Probably already rooted! :)

Amazing Chris!
Do you glow in the dark too? LOL
