Below are pictures of cuttings I'm rooting right now. I've basically used Dan's methods of cleaning, paper towel and baggies. I couldn't find the UPM quickly, so I use Miricle Gro, potting mix without fertilizer or moisture retention additives. I rooted in paper towels and move to cups when initials were at least 1/4" long. Some I put in cups because the buds had sprouted without roots. It's very important to do that because the moisture from the paper towel will cause the buds to mold or rot. I had a few of those. The initials will break out sooner or later. It's nice to see roots before cupping but it's not necessary.
The pictures are of Martin's Uknown, Ventura, Paridiso and Strawberry. The plant I'm showing is a Martin's Uknown.

The most handy watering tool. It let you measure the amount and let you put it right where you want it. Since I have holes up and down the sides of my cups, I can shoot a little water where it needed without soaking the whole cup. Works great.
