Progression of the Martienca Rimada

Definitely a beautiful fig; the fruit ripening pics in the thread above are amazing; I've been watching and Dave has had a few of these on eBay for auction in the past few weeks; he is an excellent source for authentic cultivars... well worth following him on ebay and putting on a auction notification for his goods if you are interested in this and other varieties....

Sorry, Dave... not intended to market your figs, just letting new members with MR interests know where to find these from a trusted forum member...

Great looking pics Dave...I'm with you with using pro mix...such a good soil for pots.

Thanks for sharing...and to think that a few weeks ago when I saw it on your profile I asked you if it was a panache.  Silly me!  Didn't know better at the time.

Nice Dave! Glad to see that I am not the only one with trees occupying a bathtub. ?

I wish you people would stop!! Now I am going to have to go looking for M. Rimada cuttings. Incredibly good looking and tastes great too...how can I resist! LOL

[HotAirBalloon%20vertical]  Flip the image over and it almost could be a ripe MR....

Tony Excellent comparison now everytime I look at my MR's I'm going to think of hot air balloons

lol.... I love it.... If I ever get a new GSP, I'll name her Martinenca in honor of your Rimada!
