Propagation Dome

Does anyone have any experience using Johnny's propagation domes for cuttings or grafting of fig trees are vegetables.  I am interested to hear your experience.  Most fig cuttings would fit well into this on top of a seed tray.

These bins are available as well, without air dome. You might have some laying around.      Pack of 8.  https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-58-Quart-Clear-Storage-Box-Multiple-Colors-Case-of-8/54068762

That's an interesting idea, Craig. Pretty handy, too. I like Noel's idea of using an inverted sterilite container, too, as a dome. It isn't completely clear, but you'd certainly have more clearance, Clarence. Roger, Rodger.

Yes, I like the idea of using a bin as well for those larger cuttings.  What I do like about this propagation dome is that it has vents.  Something that you could probably replicate on a wal mart bin, but would take some rigging.  I would also add that you can water from the bottom up by using a seedling flat, which you could do with the bin.
