Propagation with 100% success

Hello All,

There was a post here when I last visited about propagating cuttings by a gentleman who was striving for 100% success. He had a very specific method of cutting, thought he could achieve cuttings with a single node and was very insistent that the droplets that formed on cuttings resulted in damage, etc.

Can anyone point me to this post? After 20 minutes of searching, I wasn't able to find it again.

I'm interested in the culmination of his work. My kids and I propagate figs for fun and sell them for charities.

My email is pzierz@nc.rr.com

Thanks,
Peter

Hi, I believe those were Danab_z9_La 's posts, but they have been deleted. You can find Dan over at GWFF if you'd like to ask him a question.

I think you are talking about Dan also.  I could pull up his post you're talking about in Google's cache, but since he deleted all of them and I posted a cached copy at Google, he explicitly asked me never to post a link to cached copies of any thread he made.

I think the thread you are talking about is titled "Improved Baggie Rooting Method".

Personally, I found this thread to be incredibly helpful also, so I want to share it also:  http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post?id=3445066

Jason, the thread you refer to has disappeared into the ether. Some of us were fortunate to file it away though. I will not be bringing it back though. I do not know the why and therefores but it is a crying shame the wealth of knowledge some have garnered through hard work can be deleted over simple disagreements.

What/where is GWFF? What is Dan's full name?

Garden Web forums, they have many many sub forums including a Fig Forum hence the FF.

Dan, goes by the handle danab over there and he is the one that posted an excellent series of posts on his propagation methods but for reasons known only to him has decided to delete these same posts.
