Did I prune my Jolly Tiger correctly or should I cut below where it reverted back?

Hi Tom,
yes you cut one node below last variegation and it will sprout new shoots that are variegated .
The one leaf at the 28 second mark thats pale green and you say "i dont know whats going on with it" will turn yellow this is how they first come out.
My plants are fast growers outdoors and yours should do fine .

I cut that whole branch off but I was just thinking that I really don't know if the branch was completely reverted since there were no leaves near the cut.  If the new growth was completely green was there any chance that any of the lignified section was variegated?  Can a straight section of branch be half variegated and the other half non variegated?

Tom types -Can a straight section of branch be half variegated and the other half non variegated?

Yes with the non variegated being the last portion if one fails to prune it off .

If that old wood was variegated last season  - Yes it will still be variegated .

Thanks Martin, I don't think I have pictures of the growth from last year so if I get that removed branch to root it will be wait and see.

I have a jolly fig. I know it grows slow but the leaves keep burn off. I keep the tree in the garage and it's usually the 70s says 75 right now since it's not hot but normally been watering it every eight days or so. Can someone please help for maintenance to keep it alive.
