Hi,
Send that guy to zone7 ... He'll be drinking fig leaves tea with that pruning, but not eating figs !
But ok, he is in a zone that allows for such hard pruning methods ... Zone envy ... 5°C this morning, and it not even November ! But that's a normal temp for my Zone 7.
Expecting some first frosts soon !
