These are pix of my new Purple Brunswick. Notice the traditional fat Brunswick neck.OK, this is really a very much different Vista fig which I found on my tree yesterday which had an very unusually large neck compared to the usually small slender necks. Additionally it is about 3-4 times the size of regular fruit.
JonHow would you compare the taste of this biggie one with its normal size ones which you have shown in a later post?
It was a day or so less ripe, but otherwise, tasted the same.I have had Vista figs for years that had viable seed (must have been caprified) but looked otherwise normal in size, etc.
