Purple Brunswick

These are pix of my new Purple Brunswick. Notice the traditional fat Brunswick neck.

OK, this is really a very much different Vista fig which I found on my tree yesterday which had an very unusually large neck compared to the usually small slender necks. Additionally it is about 3-4 times the size of regular fruit.

How would you compare the taste of this biggie one with its normal size ones which you have shown in a later post?

It was a day or so less ripe, but otherwise, tasted the same.

I have had Vista figs for years that had viable seed (must have been caprified) but looked otherwise normal in size, etc.
