Put Them in the Sun ?

My Battaglia (25gal), Negronne (25Gal) and Red Greek (5gal) are in the garage. The Greek has a few small green leaves on it from last year however the other 2 are completely leafless but with closed buds. If I put the Battaglia and Negronne in the sun against a south facing brick wall will there be a problem? They dont have any leaves yet that need to be hardened up.

Get em in the sun. As long as there's no chance of freeze, they should be in the sun before they break bud. Much less headache that way.  the one that has leaves, if they are tiny, you should be able to put it in the sun too.   if the leaves are more than an inch or so, put them in filtered sun for a bit  first.

I put everything else out today. Younger ones are getting early morning and late evening sun along a south facing wall.. I put a two year Strawberry Verte and Red Patlican in the ground. Bigger plants in 25 gallon pots are leafing out and they are on bricks facing southwest. My wife is not amused.

Sounds good.
I'm being encouraged to put some of the plants I'm growing in ground along the south side brick wall of the house. Most of them will go along the edge of the garden fence to make it easier to water them this summer.

Rich all my plants are out of the garage and fertilized and mulched.  Warmth is coming.  Get'em out asap.

k' I'll put them out tomorrow.

I just got my onions and potatoes mail order. This weekend I'll be ho'n in the garden.

Long as weather cooperates the sooner the better for a head start.

Rolled them out of the garage this morning. Sunny and 63 today

IDK what to do.   I'd planned to plant my 3-5 gal yearlings in the ground this Spring, but my in ground 3 yr olds died this winter. How many years do I need to fig shuffle before I can plant in ground?  Its supposed to be GA 8a here but I'm thinking I'ts more like 7b.  omg I dont want to fig shuffle any more.

Soni, this was a rough winter; hopefully it was an isolated event. I would say, if you're going to plant, do within the next month so they'll have time to settle before summer scorch comes. My in-grounds were 1 year olds in 3 gallons when I planted and did fine (this was 8-9 years ago?). I'd like to think this winter was an anomaly -- I certainly hope so.
