HI everyone,

I have a question about Danny's Delight.

Over at the F4F variety pages, DD is said to have a purple/brown exterior, yet when you look at the pictures, it shows a yellow/green fig.

So,I was wondering if anyone here has this variety, and know what the actual exterior color is?

I have Danny's Delight from Encanto, orginally started from a cutting a year or 2 ago, but it has not fruited for me yet. Maybe this year it will.

It is a long story, but there appear to have originally been at least two different things that were sold by the nursery that Danny's came from. Mine (Figs 4 Fun / Encanto Farms Nursery) is the green version.

Thanks Jon! I figured there was some kind of story along with it after I tried to 1st do the search on my own and found someone mention 2 possible different types. I have had DD for a couple years now, but do not realize until recently about the different color in pics.
