Question about dormancy / and fruit production

So I have propigated 3 fig trees (I think Black mission) they have been growing all summer very well, but have not produced any fruit. SInce this was my first attempt at propigating these trees I am not sure if that is normal or not? If so. then how long does it take for them to produce?
Also I was interested in the dormancy period for small propigated fig trees. I live in Connecticut and while I have always owned fig trees, they were always very large and we would put them in the garage for the winter. However can I leave these smaller fig trees in my home over the winter, perhaps in a window or under grow light?

I wouldn't expect fruit this year.  Good chance for next year though.
They should be just fine going dormant this winter.  You could try to baby them all winter indoors, but I doubt it's worth the troubles.

1st year plants might get fruit, might not. Most would consider it better to let them grow the first year and not let them fruit. You should see fruit in the next year or three, it all depends on the environment/plant/etc.

Do a search on pinching to promote fruit production, that should be beneficial.

I personally would put them in the garage if it's not too cold. Growing the plant indoors will just weaken it.

Thanks I will look that up, I wasnt expecting to get fruit, just wanted to know when to expect it, or if it was normal or not. Thanks alot for the advice :)

Typically, under average growing conditions, you'll see some fruit by the 2nd year.  As Kelby mentioned, there are factors that will determine when fruit appears, but the average grower may get a main crop by year two.
