I got a plant at the gathering at Bass's house this past spring; I believe it originally came from you.  It was marked "original Malta #25".  Can you tell me anything about the fig?  I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't know if it's that one,all the tag says is (orig  Malta  #25)
It has a nice size fig on it.

It is not typical of me to tag fig starters just like that.
The orig. part could be additional info.

During the last NE meeting, I brought about 20 fig starters with me.
I kept a sheet of paper with a list of who-got-what, but right now I
am away from home.

BTW,
I do remember very clearly, that you asked me for the GM#5 (Maltese Falcon),
and you were lucky enough to own the very-first raffle-number drawn.
You chose that fig (GM#5)...
