Question for Jon -- figs4fun sort

Jon, I think other will agree with this comment....I truly love the work you did in building your fig4fun website.  There are so many different type, shapes and colors of figs.  I never knew there were so many different figs out there!  Anyway,  is it possible to display a page on your website with the figs sorted by color?  or Country?

The main reason for the question is I have 2 unknown green figs.  The only way to research and see quickly identify the fig is to use tools like your website or post a picture of my fig and ask forum members to comment on the fig.  This could take days or months looking at each fig from A to Z.  I could pay to have the DNA checkout but that too costly at the moment.  thank you in advance.

Dennis, a lot of things are possible, but unfortunately time is the great limitation.  I have wanted to put together a chart of all the different varieties many times, but it just never rises to the top of the pile.

I have 1500 pix to code and upload, and I am getting about 100 done per day. I have another 3500 raw pix to prep, from last season. In a few weeks, There will be more new pix from this season.

I am still looking for someone with $ to adopt me, and then I can do figs 24/7. That has been a difficult hunt, as well.

Yeah, I figured it would be a huge task to make something like that happen.  But I had to ask!  I'm designing a small simple database that will capture:
Fig Name
Origin Country
Color Category
Color code
Description
Sweetness Id
Richness Id
Purchased from
Received Fig from
Key words
Propagated Indicator
Age
Photo

I got the database built and populating it based on what I have for my home.  I'd be happy to share it with you when I'm done.  thanks,

There are a lot of things I wish I had time to tackle. Just need that adoption.
