Often we get mesmerized by those big and huge figs and how nice and juicy they look but we all forget about those little ones that pack a big punch.
Queue Longue is one of those little ones with the punch.
I have had this cultivar for almost three years now and it is a winner in the making. The fruit is less than the size of a quarter and has a long neck (long tail) it packs a fruity taste. Almost berry like.
Last year it struggled for what ever the reason but this year it made a rebound. Sitting in 2gl pot I think it needs something much larger to stretch her legs. Has FMV but I think a little extra fertilizer and extra TLC and this little tree will make a full recovery.
The tree appears to be naturally small and so do the leaves. Just like the fruit it self.
Please enjoy the pictures,
BTW, trying to load pictures of the ripe fruit from two years ago but too large.
Edit: I added three more pictures that were taken two years ago. Sorry for the quality because I snapped them off the monitor because the files were to large to load here and this is the best way I know how.
