we both lost. the VdB are just the way my wife likes it. firm. but it's not exactly ripen. so i guess my wife won :)

Your kidding me right. Sparrows were'nt even on my list as a possible threat to my figs. I have recently watch some youtube videos on making a sparrow trap so they don't eat all my bird seed in a couple of hours.
