Rafed In Hospital

Rafed,

We all need you to be "on the road again"...

On the road again -
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is making music with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again

Goin' places that I've never been.
Seein' things that I may never see again

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again -
Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We're the best of friends.
Insisting that the world keep turning our way

And our way
is on the road again.
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is makin' music with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
On the road again

Like a band of gypsies we go down the highway
We're the best of friends

Insisting that the world keep turning our way

And our way
is on the road again.
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is makin' music with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
And I can't wait to get on the road again.

Paul,

I was not expecting this but thank you very much. It means a World to me.

I want to thank each and everyone one of you for wishing me well. I am over whelmed with joy. Especially you Brent.

And for those who sent me emails thank you too.

Frank, I agree with you but it happened while I was driving my truck on Thursday. I dealt with it all through Friday night because I was too stubborn to seek help.

Long story short, the doctor says it is more of a bacteria infection that the bee could have been carrying and mix it with the venom well, as you see.

It is the most excruciating pain ever and most of the time I cannot stand on my leg.
I will be in the hospital for another one or two days for sure.

I will get better for sure.

Once again, thank you all.

Rafed,

Here's to wishing the bad stuff out and the good stuff in. How about a fig and honey wound dressing? (Perhaps a poor attempt at humor, not the doctor's orders). Hope you feel your normal self soon.

Get well soon Rafed.................................:-)

Rafed--Sorry to hear you're laid up, but it will take more than bees and bacteria to keep you down for long. Besides--you've got to get back home and keep everybody from running off with your faforite figs! I hope somebody's watching the farm! Get well soon.

Everyone who is born holds dual citizenship, in the kingdom of the well and in the kingdom of the sick. Although we all prefer to use only the good passport, sooner or later each of us is obliged, at least for a spell, to identify ourselves as citizens of that other place. ~Susan Sontag, Illness as Metaphor, 1977

Let's all hope your visit to the other place is as short as possible. I hope you're back on track soon, Rafed ..... and may that bee be damned!

Al

Sorry to hear about this , Rafed.
Best wishes for a very speedy recovery.
If there is a silver lining , I'm sure you'll find it or have found it.
Kerry

I am sorry about our fight last season, it was silly. I am getting to like you even, and have learned a thing or two from you as well. I hope you are on the road again, and home, soon.

Good to see that you are well enough to post. Get and be well my friend.

Once again,
Thank you all for your carring.

Jimmy,
Posting earlier was a task alone. I was just injected with pain meds so I had a hard time staying awake as I was typing.

Bit better now, the swelling is still there but the fever is gone. The pain comes only when I try to move or stand on my feet, and that alone takes my breath away.

Brent,
It's all good bro, all in the past now. Happy figging.

Wishing you a full and speedy recovery.
