raised beds

Looking at my young figs in pots is making me think about where to put them in the yard. I am thinking about some raised beds so I can plant a few on the lower end of the yard where is stays wet in the fall and spring.

I am thinking about 3 landscape timbers tall (9in) and 32 X 32in for each tree. Is that big enough? Should I go 48 x 48? I am trying to maximize what I get out of 96in timbers.

Hi Genedaniels,
IMO, 16*16 inch is enough - that is a "big pot" already.
So 32*32 inch should be ok as long as you have 20 or 32 inch of height .
