This is the leaf on a new seedling:

The leaf is a bit out of the ordinary, with a lot more "ruffles" along the edges than most.
I am in a fight with the birds, rats, and whatever else to get a good ripe fig to see how it is going to taste. What I have has looks promising. It was complicated by the fact that the tree turned out, on close inspection, to be two seedlings very close to one another, so RajaS has become RajaS1 and RajaS2 for now. Both look promising, but not positive which of the earlier fruit came from which tree as they have fairly intertwined branches.
Today one was a little under-formed, and the other a little spoiled. I picked 3 earlier but didn't note which tree they were from. I only figured out that there was a difference when I picked the later samples. Those earlier fruits were quite nice, with a strong berry taste and a nice acid/sweet balance.
Seedling play continues.
