This morning, I stopped by Wal-Mart to pick-up some fruit to snack on in the office.  I went very early and not many people were there.  I stopped by the nursery department to see if they had any Sweet Charlie strawberry plant and they did not.  But they did have some fig trees.  I saw several varieties, Celeste, Galicia Negra, Brown Turkey, Black Jack, Magnolia, and Ponte Teresa.  All were $9.97.  The trees were in half gallon containers.  No one was around to ask questions.  I was wondering if other Wal-Marts had these trees.  So, I called my nephew in Houston Texas and my son in Nashville Tennessee and asked them to swing by their local Wal-Mart and see if they had the same trees.  Both texted me back stating they had the same fig trees but Houston also had some Texas Blue Giants too.

Ah!  April 1st!  Glad I only made a call to the local WM.  I asked if they had any fig trees and they basically went, "What?"  Just in case a WM in your southern areas do carry figs. here in Lebanon, PA., they don't.

Ok how many folks actually called or went to Walmart looking for those 2 Figs?

I just called my local Walmart,here in Strongsville,Oh.The only fig trees left are Martinenca Rimada and Galicia Yellow...:))

WOW!  I will be in Nashville in a couple days.  Dennis could you post a picture of the fig trees you purchased from Wal-Mart so we can see how they look?
