Ray Givans Fig Site active?

Does anyone know if the Ray Givans Fig Site is still active?
Does he still sell the booklet?

I have heard from other gardeners in GA that Mr Givan is not in good health these days.  I haven't had the time to fact-check this, though, so take it with a grain of salt.

I don't know what, if anything, may have changed since December, but I had tried unsuccessfully last year to find his booklet. I mentioned to my daughter that I had looked for it in vain, and she did some online detective work and somehow contacted someone who knows him, got a phone number, and had a copy for me by Christmas.

I was just about to start a thread inquiring if anyone has a current email or current contact info for Ray.  Before I posted though, I did a search and found this thread.  So... does anyone know a current email or other contact info for Ray?   <br>

Reason I'd like to contact him:  I too tried ordering his booklet from his "new" site linked above.  But that email address is no longer in service, and using the site with Paypal to order his booklet, the paypal payment goes through but never completes  (it's using the same givan2009@comcast.net email address... it's not in service any longer).  I hope he's doing well... anyone have a current email address for him?  Or phone number?

I just tried it again... it sent payment to the same email address that it did on 4/7/2012.   (givan2009@comcast.net).  When I send an email to that address, I get a notification that emails can't be delivered to that address.  And paypal still lists both payments as "unclaimed"  (incomplete transactions, with a message that it doesn't recognize that email address any long).   Can you ask him to email me?  (sent my addresses in a PM to you).

Just wanted to let you know that the problems I was having ordering Ray Givan's booklet were resolved.  The booklet arrived in yesterday's mail.

 
I'm not sure what was going wrong with my earlier attempts to buy it, but a few days after Bass put me in touch with him by email, I tried Ray's site again  ( raysfiginfo.com)  and it was using a newer email address for paypal then.  Probably the problem was just some cached version of that site (with old obsolete info), or some similar web craziness.  In any case, it worked. 

If any of you are trying to buy his booklet but still having troubles, try visiting raysfiginfo.com again.  If the paypal button uses givan2009@comcast.net, then it won't work.  (That's the old info).  But if it uses a new email address at windstream.net, then it'll go through ok.

Bass, thanks again for contacting Ray on my (and others') behalf.

Not much fig data was available at that time.
One problem with Ray, is that he has 'changed' his
contact/web-site for about 3-4 times....
(very hard to keep track off)
