Hi I would like to share some pictures of my fig trees and cuttings but I'm having trouble posting them because they are to big is there anyone that can help me i am using windows XP I'm not very computer minded so if you could explain it to me keeping it as simple as possible thanks

there are online tools also. i use picasa. i set the picture size to 640x480 or something like that and it fits right.

Go to Photobucket.com sign up for free. upload your picture and post the image link. Easiest way I can think of.

Pieman - Figluvah advice works excellent and its simple.

I run XP as well  with the updates on this old machine.
Download the power tools and it click it to self install  -
Upload your picture to hardrive right from your camera as is.
Right click your picture and click resize -small/medium/large - time it takes is mere seconds to resize.
You can rename file to the name of fig just add  .jpg at end of file if you choose.

It makes file size under 1mb and will easily upload to forum as a thumbnail ,the reader then simply clicks on your picture to blow it up.

Plus it saves Jon the moderator of this forum a lot of space .


I used Photobucket and this way is faster and easier for XP systems in my humble opinion.

Very simple to use after you change the size just drag and drop the pic onto your desktop or into a folder 1 2 3 done.

Hi All this is a belated thank you to everyone that helped me sort out my problem posting pictures [resizing pictures] hers a couple that i was trying to post at the time first picture is 7 cutting of Cyprus fig that i put in an old bucket couldn't find enough pots the other 2 are Sari Zebeck & Bardacik
