Well last night Chicago had a record rain for February, 2 inches might not sound like a lot but for this month it is, we had some lightning and thunder with the rain, usually we get no more than an inch or 2 for the whole month on average. Went to store today and bought some needed pots. Soon i will buy more potting soil to tranfer plants and root prune others but its still to cold to comfortably do this in garage soon enough i'll get that warm day to do it as i missed chance recently but thats ok.
Possible more snow this weekend there not sure yet, but at least that rain washed everything away and cleaned the leftover salted streets.

I heard on the news last night that our area (Washington, DC) is experiencing the driest February on record.  We've had only 0.25" of rain this month and this is our second consecutive winter with little or no snow.  I sure hope we have a wet Spring.
