I like to introduce the red conandria fig.Its quite large (100g) red thick skin, very edible!, sugary, red flesh and very moist (not watery) fig.An excellent fig and rain tolerant and very productive. Enjoy

gorgeous. Those leaves are as beautiful as the fig.
Nice large fig, but it looks like a brown turkey. Ira Condit bred the Conadria, which is a white fig. I'm not sure how this fig was given the red conadria name. I'm wondering if it's an Aussie name.
its not a brown turkey. This is the breba crop, the main crop is much sweeter, usually cropping around feb
Condit's "Conadria" fig = CON(dit)ADRIA(tic); bred by Condit himself using an Adriatic fig as one of the parents.(UCD: DFIC 05 and DFIC 50)And yes, both are white figs. I do not know the difference (if any) - I only have the 05 one.
i do reccomend this one in everybody collection due to its size taste and robustness
I'll pass . ; )
George,I bought 2 Conadrias in '07 from a supplier who sold both varieties and although I asked for 2 - 05's I think I got one of each as the pulp color is different. On one tree the figs produce a strawberry colored flesh whereas on the other it's more honey colored with a bit of reddish flush.Hers's the Aussie link that calls Conadria -- Red Conadria.http://figs4fun.com/archive/archive021.htmlotherwise I don't know how a red fig was named Conadria.Bill can you tell us where you've seen this variety for sale?
The size , hollow cavity , color , dryness , large eye are all typical of California Brown Turkey . Been there , done that and got rid of it .My Dad likes it for a showpeace now.John
