I just got a few cuttings of a supposedly red fig w/purple interior. Possibly a Syrian variety. Any ideas?

I hope it is red like the one in the pic. This guy did say it was a very good tasting fig. We'll find out next year when I see them in person.

With my luck it's probably a Brown Turkey. But he did say he would give me cuttings from the trees his family grows in Syria.
