Interesting trend , I had bought three scions from someone on eBay this fall, they all were small cuttings that rooted well but slow. They all show this trend. When repotted into 1G pots after two weeks the light green shade fades. Note they are along the veins of each leaf, all indications were lack of nutrients when researching the issue. I found it odd given they were the same soil mix as other ones which you all have seen pictures of and are green as St Paddy's day!  I'll repot this one and see, but suspect now something else with the tree these came from.

I have heard/read that there are [at least] 2 'Red Lebanese' fig varieties going around...
I have none, so I cannot comment on any.

There are two different varieties, Lebanese Red/Red Lebanese/red Lebanon. Mine I got it from a friend, who refers to it as the Tripoli tree, At some point it came from Tripoli, Lebanon. I have the cells out for evaluation. I assumed it had some infection, but the discoloration on all leaves only along the veins is odd for FMV, so I suspect it maybe another form.  I have seen FMV and rust come out fairly quick in other scion over the years, but not this.

 So I will see what comes back, for the time these will be separate from the rest, actually they will go a trip to my sister's house for the time being.  I have Red lebanese scion from others on this forum currently rooting so we will see the differences.

To be clearer on this matter, I think it should be clarified that Bass refers to his Tripoli fig as "Lebanese Red" while Marius refers to his fig from the Bekaa Valley as Red Lebanese.

FMV, not to panic. Often shows up in first growth on new cuttings, or in humid conditions. 

had fruit of Red Lebanese yet so can't compare.
