Reminiscing 2 figs

Strawberry and Paradiso.  I am hoping this year I get an abundance of these 2 this year!  Strawberry oozing from the eye!  I was shocked at their taste.  Both were excellent!  Both are planted in my orchard.  I thought my Strawberry was the same as my JH Adriatic but they I'm not 100% sure.    I had labeled this one Chico Strawberry but I know that's wrong!  Looking at it's leaf pattern....it just might be JH Adriatic!  I have a larger JH Adriatic planted about 10 feet from this tree today.  My real JHA produces smaller figs.  The more I think about my Strawberry....I'm thinking this is the JH Adriatic that I lost (could not find) years ago!  I need to do more comparing trees this this year.  Oh Well, enjoy my pics!  The other fig is definately Paradiso.

That looks incredibly delicious.  I'm excited to be growing Chico, Paradiso, and JH Adriatic.  A couple more years and I'll be posting with you!

Dennis not nit picking but your pictures are huge maybe if you can shrink more and if using Windows based system try the Image Resizer Power Tool  from Microsoft its a 1 or 2 click program and works well totally free and install with just a click.

Once installed you simply right click your picture and pick small/medium/large and within 3 seconds another new picture comes up and original is still saved.
I used to click large and get them just under a meg like you but suddenly something on forum changed and now there huge so now i use small feature.

Nice looking interior by the way .
If you need the program just let me know i can send it and its very small in size .

How different is Chico Strawberry from Strawberry Verte?

Thanks Martin, but I have a program. I use my IPAD.

Greenfig, Chico Strawberry is not in these pictures. Jon renamed Chico Strawberry to Saratoga.

Thanks, snagplus. Saratoga is a beautiful fig! It is in my plans to get next year.

The Saratoga description says it came from the Saratoga Street (should be Avenue) in Point Loma, CA (San Diego). Is the street intersection known for this location?

That's a question for Jon and Sue V to answer.

Dennis and others,

Use the command + and command -

This will increase or decrease the photo in your browser.

iPad pinch or widen with the thumb and index finger

All other should be similar.

They look beautiful Dennis, especially nice to see pics like these at this time of year.

Chris, I don't have a problem viewing my pictures. Nor do I need info on how to zoom in or out using an IPAD. I'm an IT guy that knows a heck of a lot about PCs, IPADs and applications than most. These pictures were over 1M before they were uploaded here......besides if they weren't they would never have loaded. The pics show up perfect on my IPAD and my crappy Windows laptop. :) Happy Figgin everyone!!!

Well, I can see only 1/4 of the picture if I simply left-click (with a roll-over capability). The resolution is too high, since the viewer is displaying in a full res. and is not aware of the screen res. I need to right-click to view in a browser which does a proper resizing.

Dennis,
Thanks for posting photos. It is really enjoyable to see pictures of fruit while we wait for this years crop.

They look great!

Dennis,I like your large clear photos!

I right click with my PC mouse to open in a new window and it automatically scales to size or I can zoom in with the magnifying glass for better detail.

i'm dreaming about my Paraiso Gene.. and JH Adriatic. they are growing well in the back deck. my lime problem didn't reach them. growing very nicely.. tho, i don't see any figs on Paradiso so far this year.
