Remove leaves or leave it alone

Should I remove some leaves to let sun in on the figlets or leave it alone

Hello! Your tree i a 'model' fig in all respects ! Congratulations
I would leave it alone ... just keeping your regular fertigation to support its needs,..ongoing flower development and fruiting a bit later. Late fall, yes when dormant,  would check eventual  excess and cross branch growth in the canopy center
The leaves are the fig 'solar cells' that provide the required energy to process the diluted nutrients coming up from the roots (photosynthesis). A potted fig with such strong canopy particularly through summer may need special and close attention on its water requirements as it 'consumes' a lot . Happy figging

Its a mushroom soil mix I get from my local guy. And fertilized with Osmocote 14-14-14

Its a melanzana in its 3rd year unfortunately it needs wasps I don't have them here. So I'll be using it to graft away and turn it into something else
It get over 40 figs but drops them all mid august. This year I have 2 brebas that are growing I'm keeping fingers crossed but not holding my breath

The watering is done thru a tube and drinks from the roots

As u see in pic water goes in tube it fills all canisters on bottom then wire mesh and burlap bag to cover it. Soul sucks up the moisture needed and feeds the tree
There's one hole on side of pot about the height of canisters so u can't overfill it
Pour water into tube until u see it pouring out the side in summer every other day

Good! Your system is very well engineered and ideal for potted figs.
Problem is that main crop.. May be you should divert a share of all that available energy into a good Common (?)

As you suggested before ( and I didn't see it .. sorry) grafting or budding one or two Common 'world class' figs to be fed by those healthy and robust limbs and not requiring wasp assistance.

No more than the number of limbs you are replacing 'stress' the tree...

Believe there will be no harm for the plant!
It's sufficiently robust to take that... See this link for a great manual on grafting Mediterranean  species (Pages 50 to 55)
