Remove this right?

The bud below the apical tip should be removed in this scenario right? Seeing as it is going to be growing below will be shaded by the apical. If it was my peach tree I would remove this one without a second thought, but for some reason I felt I should ask your opinion.

Also a breba question. Is the general consensus that they delay the onset of the main crop, or that they just use some growth potential that could be used elsewhere and the main crop will come at the same time regardless of breba?  And, will the main crop be any larger(numbers and/or fruit size) due to the removal of the breba crop?(similar to removing last years wood on ever-bearing raspberries)

Thanks

It depends on how you want your tree growing.  You could remove either, neither or both.  The second bud won't be shaded for long.  If it's a valuable tree you could let both grow for a while then airlayer the one you don't want and sell it for $25,000 on ebay.

"and sell it for $25,000 on ebay."

LOL!

Nope, not valuable :(     But tasty :)

What are your thoughts on removing the breba or letting them be, and why?

Personally i remove breba in my climate as there not as good as main crop and want our plants to concentrate growing for the later summer crop which is better here in my climate.
