Greetings All
Given the strange weather all over, it's nice that our fig trees figure out what to do in spite of mother natures fickleness. We bought this Celeste late Autumn last year at a local up-scale nursery hre in MD. In fact, it was the last one they had. We overwintered in our cool temperture sun room, and brough it out in Spring. After some strange spring and early summer temperature fluctuations, late frosts, and an abundance of rain, i finally managed to get it planted among my fig hedge.
It quickly put out some new leaves and some figs. Here's a pix of our first Celeste fig which turned out to quite tastey despite the weather!
