A very tasty variety from Syria. Reminds me of Verte, but much earlier... It comes from a village in Syria where its known to produce the first main crop in the region.

 Is this variety different from another Syrian fig you previously posted called Hmari? If I remember it was also a green fig with red interior

Yes Hmari is different, although it does look similar. One difference is that Hmari is more elongated, and the ripening time is different. Hmari has not ripened for me yet.
