I was actually going to post a thread about cuttings suddenly dying. I've lost all three of my RdB cuttings I started in early January for unknown reasons. Does anyone have any extra cuttings from pruning or have any to spare?

JLEE DID THEY ROT. IF SO USE A SOILESS MEDIA THAT IS NOT WET JUST DAMP PUT IN CLOSED CONTAINER AND DO NOT WATER FOR ALEAST 15 DAYS. Also wash in bleach water for 30 seconds. (10%) before rooting. Little water is needed to root this is key. I killed lots of cutting from moisture issues. Water = mold=rot= death. Richie from louisiana zone 8

If it makes you feel any better, I started about 8 RdB this fall. I had 100% success rooting and transfer to cups. Then I had the genius idea to set the humidity bin outside on a cool overcast morning. By the time I realised that the sun had come out, the thermometer in the bin hit 120F. All died.

Sorry JLee, I have small established RdBs, but I see you are in CA and I can't ship there.

My RdBs all succumbed to the gnats after having rooted so beautifully in December!  My condolences, Jlee.
