Ronde de Bordeaux Fruit

Here's a RdB, I picked several today and they are a delicious Fig, with a nice berry taste! Just thought some of our members would like to see what they look like, incase they do not have it....:  )

So pretty, next year I'll have some on mine. Patience is a virtue.

Very nice and juicy fig !

Like all the white pulp mixed with the red. Looks like candy

Yummy! A lot of Amber fleshed figs are delicous (I have one)

That's a really good, dependable one, Frank, but we should observe a moment of silence for the Pink Panther. He gave his life for that backdrop.

Nice display on RDB!  And it looks so delicious!

LOL

Frank you take some very good fig photo's. My RdB just barely survived everything and gained about a foot of single stem but no figs this year. :(

Hi Frankallen,
Congrats !
Is your tree a fast grower and huge tree ?
I've been holding back from tacking one rondedb because of the supposed big sized tree .

RdB...It is a fast grower here! I've only had for a year so I really can't tell you, if it develops in to a very large tree. Seems to grow faster than your average Fig tree...Hope this helps..

My RdB is 5 years old and it is 1.60 m high, rather bushy.I think its depend of the soil.On poor soil the tree remain relative small.

Looks delicious! Keep the pictures coming
