I've got that going on too.  We're getting rain every day and high humidity.  I just realized that evidently this fig can take the rain without splitting because we've had lots of rain this month.

woo hooo   That's on my wish list.   Will you repot it now with the fruit on it?

Figs normally don't split until they hit the ripening phase so you still have some waiting time for your RDB figs.I'm hoping that the rain will diminish in July or August or else there are going to be a lot of spoiled figs in GA like last summer.

Yes, the wet, humid weather is starting to take its toll here too.  My RdB looked perfect until about a week ago and now it is starting to show a few yellow leaves.  This will be the first year to taste fruit from it if the figs can hold on.

I did repot it but I did not disturb the roots at all.  It probably just too hot to risk stressing the tree.

Your right.  I lost my mind there for a minute thinking I was responding to the Sal's Corleone fig that ripened during heavy rain without splitting.  It must be the heat and humidity getting to me.
