Oh, I wish I lived closer to you Marius!

Why couldn't you be located in Texas?

Marius , when is your next trip to NYC
Mark

What's your reason for getting rid of her Marius?

Ryan,I do have another one in pot and one more inground.

Nice looking tree. Good luck.

Marius,

I have this particular variety and it should fruit for me next year, or I would be sorely tempted to take a drive. Have you put it on Craigslist?

No Dale.I did not,not craiglist.Just here,on forum.Also,if interested, I do have a mature(3 years old) plant of ST-Rita,LSU Scott's Black,Ischia Black,Salce,Madelaine des deux Saisons and Gino's Black,to get rid of them.

Darn your eyes! I'll have to check my inventory and with she who must be obeyed.

Sure wish Ohio and Long Island were closer !!

Would love to have it, unfortunately, I live in Texas.  =(

Dale ,
Make that drive.
You'll be very glad you did even if it is just for the older RDB.

I agree with Kerry 100%

Ok, i see now. Good looking tree, someone will be very happy. Like others have said, I wish we were closer, lol.

Hmmmm.    It's only a 12 hr drive...

Sound like an awesome deal BUT I am NORTHWEST IDAHO.... Craaaaaaap. LUCKY DOG- who ever it is.

Jenny

RdB, only had one fig this yr... but what promise that simple fig makes in that single bite. 3yr old in 32 gal would be a treat for anyone.

Guess I am closer. Only 450 mi & 7 hr drive.

Maybe we need to set up a relay system from member to member across the states, from the seller to buyer. There has to be enough forum members so no one would have to transport the merchandise too far!

North Royalton to city X, City X to City Y, City Y to City Z, across the states, town to town, member to member!

Like data moving from router to router, this would be fig tree moving member to member.

Mark that sounds like a good idea. When it reaches it's first layover, a little snip, next layover, another little snip, so on and so on. By the time it reaches it's final destination it would only be a stump. LOL

Y'all just make sure it passes thru Texas...along with all the others trees Marius is getting rid of.  =)

I just joined this site because of my new found love for fresh figs. I want to learn all I can and get as many varieties going as possible. Only 3 hours from me looks like I can make that drive. :).

Mark, we will have a traveling fig across the country. Maybe it will set a world record for its travelling distance.

Well it works for dog rescue.  So why not for figs too?  Do we do a lottery for who ends up with the fig?  Marius could sell tickets!  Anyone doing the relay gets a complementary cutting.
