Root hardening

I have successfully rooted my cuttings in a shoebox with moss.  The roots are white, 1-2" long and look healthy, NOW WHAT?  My concern is that the roots are too soft to take directly to potting mix, but since I don't know what the H*!# I'm doing, I present this question for your valued opinions.

Thx

WISH LIST
Looking for anything anyone is willing to part with

If the cuttings were mine I would cup them up now, and when the roots pretty well filled the cup up I would transfer them to 1 gal nursery pot.

Looking good Danny.(good luck)

Cup with potting mix?

Use a light mix, about 50/50 soil mix and perlite, be careful not to overwater, put them in a bright spot but not in direct sunlight. Good luck

Ditto to what BLB said.

THX to all
